Inspired by New York’s sophisticated Asellina restaurant, Cucina Asellina has opened in the heart of London. Artisanal Italian cuisine is served in a stunning, contemporary setting designed by architects Foster + Partners, where the industrial design is juxtaposed to a warm palette, offset by tiled floors and copper tone sky-high ceilings. A warm, inviting atmosphere welcomes guests to enjoy classic and signature dishes, traditional flavours which are genuinely Italian but executed with New York flair. This includes home-made pasta produced on site daily. Cucina Asellina offers breakfast and coffees from 10 am, through to all-day dining, then cicchetti and cocktails before dinner, and finishing around midnight.
Created by executive chef Marco Porceddu, the menu offers genuine Italian dishes, executed with New York flair. There are tapas style bites, traditional pizzas, innovative flatbreads from the wood-burning oven, and the menu celebrates a range of home-made pasta produced on site daily.
Cucina Asellina offers an array of signature dishes including Saffron Strozzapreti with sausage, spinach and fiore sardo, delicate antipasti and cicchetti such as Stuffed Cerignola olives with roasted veal, parmigiano & semolina crust, wholesome main dishes such as Veal Chop Milanese, and delicious desserts.
Exclusive events can be held at Cucina Asellina for up to 200 persons.
